New to SAA? Well welcome to you. Here's a breif guide to what SAA do. We are an association who try our hardest to allow a cheap form of motor racing on the south coast. We are based in Horndean (close to Portsmouth) just off of the A3M.

We usually race between the months of March and October (weather pending) and the following class of car are allowed at our circuit.

National Bangers and Rookie Bangers, Production A Class which are upto 1Ltr FWD or 1.1Ltr RWD and Production B Class which run upto 1.3Ltr engines in either FWD or RWD. Modified C class which run upto 1.6Ltr, 1450's Class are permitted to race upto 1450cc engines but are front engine on FWD or rear engine on RWD, Super Saloons are saloon's of unlimited size and any drive configuration 2 wheel drive only. Specials Class race also and these are open wheeled cars running either OHV or OHC, 2 Wheel drive only 2Ltr Multi valve engines in standard form only. We also encourage the younger generation of drivers and have a Novice Junior group as well as a Junior group. These classes are also only raced with upto 1Ltr engines.

All groups apart from the Banger classes are non contact, where the National Banger group is Full contact and only light nudge and spin tactics from the Rookie banger group.

All the racing is extremely entertaining although you will always have your favourite group. It is a complete days racing for all the family, Our gates open at 8.00am and racing starts at 11.00am, and the final race is finished at the latest by 17.59pm
