It is that time of year again, when the publicity officer starts to look for raceday advertising/sponsors. We need the adverts & sponsors to help:-

* - cover the costs of producing the programs
* - covering the costs of newspaper adverts
* - sponsoring the trophies
* - sponsoring the big banger meetings so that cash prizes can be offered.

So what is on offer? Due to lack of time to prepare in my new role, the rule book adverts have been and gone. Sorry if you missed out on one.

We have planned for upto 15 race meetings in 2009 including the SEGTO leg of the NASA vs SEGTO annual matchup in October. So the following can be taken at 2008 rates.

Full Page B&W Advert ---> £100 (only £6.67 a meeting)
1/2 Page B&W Advert ---> £60 (only £4.00 a meeting)
1/4 Page B&W Advert ---> £35 (only £2.33 a meeting)

New for 2009 will be the limited option of taking either of the following. A total of 2 Pages will be available, so act now if you are interested.

Full Page Full Colour Advert ---> £125 (only £8.33 a meeting)
1/2 Page Full Colour Advert ---> £80 (only £5.33 a meeting)

Want artwork producing? Not a problem, full design work can be provided FREE of charge. I produced the covers, and 2 adverts in the 2008 programs (Hilsea Tyres and Chris Pye Motorsport).

Trackside Advertising boards are available again in 2009, with one advertiser confirming they want to keep their sign on banks. The first year fee for 2009 including producution costs is a mere £300. A reduced rate of £200 for 2010 will be charged if you want to keep it there unaltered for the 2010 season.

THERE IS NO DEADLINE FOR THESE ADVERTS, HOWEVER RATE WILL STAND FOR FULL SEASON REGARDLESS OF START DATE.

Despite the tough year ahead for businesses, we have already agreed almost 2/3rds of last years advertising income, with some new names advertising at SAA in 2009. As a famous supermarket says "Every Penny Counts!"
